About the role:
As an intern, you will develop embedded applications on Octasic’s latest hardware platforms and contribute to the integration of various software components.
Whether adding new features to existing products or contributing to software validation efforts, you will expand your knowledge while being mentored by experienced professionals.
What you'll do:
- Develop embedded Linux software modules for control and diagnostics of telecomunications systems;
- Work within a Scrum team and contribute to design and code reviews;
- Improve test coverage and performance of our embedded automated test systems.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering program or equivalent;
- Knowledge of embedded Linux;
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written) and spoken French;
- Knowledge of Python, C, or C++;
- Familiarities with driver development.
Nice to have:
- Development on ARM platforms (Raspberry Pi, BeagleBoard, etc.);
- Knowledge of Radio Frequency (RF);
- Knowledge of communication networks: Ethernet, IP, Wi-Fi;
- Experience with Visual Studio, LLVM, Git (Bitbucket), Artifactory, Jira.
