Immigration Attorney

Immigration Attorney

We carry a heavy humanitarian and removal defense docket, alongside family-based and adjustment work, and need another attorney to take cases from start to finish.

The work

  • Your own docket of affirmative and defensive protection cases, consultation through decision
  • Screening for humanitarian relief, withholding of removal, and CAT
  • I-589 filings, declarations, exhibit indexes, country conditions
  • SIJS matters, including predicate order hearings in state court and the I-360 and I-485 filings that follow
  • Adjustment, removal of conditions, and naturalization filings, and appearing with clients at those interviews
  • Briefs, pre-hearing statements, motions, RFE and NOID responses
  • Master calendar and individual hearings at EOIR, appeals to the BIA
  • Prepping clients and witnesses, including for cross
  • Directing paralegals on case builds
  • Watching the dates: the one-year filing bar, call-ups, biometrics, the EOIR clock

You need

  • Active bar license in a U.S. state, in good standing
  • Turkish at native level, English at professional level
  • In person preferred, hybrid or remote considered
  • Willingness and ability to travel for in-person hearings and interviews
  • The ability to run a full docket without dropping details
  • Immigration experience preferred, not required. Newly admitted attorneys who want to build this practice are welcome to apply.
