Join our Team as a Product Logistics Coordinator in our Innovation & Technology department!

We are seeking a Product Logistics Coordinator to own non-standard shipping execution, vendor coordination, and install conversion workstreams for our connected device portfolio. This role sits within the Product team, reports directly to the Product Manager, and partners closely with our 3PL provider, manufacturer, Insurance CX, and Accounting.

The Product Logistics Coordinator owns the operational backbone of device fulfillment from order corrections and returns to install conversion outreach and reconciliation with Accounting. This role is foundational to building Orion180's internal IoT product operations function and will be cross trained with the Product Support Analyst to ensure full coverage across the product portfolio.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

3PL & Shipping Execution:

  • Serve as the day-to-day operational contact with our 3PL provider (RealSolutions) via the ShipEdge WMS for all non-standard execution
  • Handle order corrections, expedited shipping requests, post-delivery model exchanges, lost and damaged claims, and return label issuance
  • Process returns and size exchanges end-to-end, including verification of received devices and reissue of correct units
  • Monitor backorder pipeline and surface replenishment risk to the Product Manager

Vendor & Manufacturer Coordination:

  • Coordinate quality escalations and disputes with the manufacturer when policyholders or the field report defects
  • Track RMA quality trends and surface patterns to the Product Manager for firmware or hardware action
  • Support inventory planning conversations with the manufacturer as the portfolio scales

Install Conversion:

  • Execute structured outreach to the shipped-not-installed cohort to drive install conversion
  • Refer policyholders to plumber networks and support scheduling coordination
  • Partner with the Product Support Analyst to deliver consistent customer education on install requirements

Financial Reconciliation:

  • Reconcile shipping, billing, and device-level financial data with the Accounting team, including the per-device backend cost structure
  • Track shipping cost variances and surface anomalies for review

Reporting & Operational Insight:

  • Produce operational reporting on pipeline aging, lead times, RFI conversion, install conversion, return rate, and shipping cost trends
  • Contribute to standalone sales readiness (Amazon storefront, direct web store) by supporting fulfillment workflow design and 3PL coordination for new sales channels
  • Support operational readiness for additional IoT device launches as they come into scope
  • Maintain process documentation and runbooks as the function scales

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Education and Work Authorization:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, operations, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • U.S. Citizenship or Green Card Holder is required

Experience:

  • 2-4 years of logistics, fulfillment, or supply chain operations experience
  • Hands-on experience with a 3PL provider, warehouse management system (WMS), or ecommerce fulfillment workflow
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple open execution issues simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable working with external vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Self-starter mindset, comfortable in a fast-moving team

Preferred Skills:

  • Direct experience with ShipEdge, ShipStation, or similar WMS platforms
  • Familiarity with 3PL contracts, SLAs, and carrier exception management
  • Experience supporting e-commerce fulfillment (Amazon Seller Central, Shopify, direct DTC channels)
  • Familiarity with insurance operations or insurtech products
  • Exposure to overseas manufacturer coordination
  • Familiarity with reporting tools (Power BI, Excel) for tracking operational metrics
  • Background that includes some technical product support or customer-facing troubleshooting to support cross-coverage with the Product Support Analyst
