Facilities Operations Manager

Now, we’re entering a new phase of growth and are looking for a Facilities Operations Manager to scale and elevate our workplace as we grow.

 

What You’ll Do

·       Oversee daily operation, maintenance, and repair of all PDW facilities and building systems

·       Manage vendors for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, janitorial, and grounds services

·       Ensure compliance with OSHA, fire code, life safety, and local AHJ requirements

·       Manage space planning, office buildouts, renovations, and facility upgrades

·       Own emergency preparedness programs including fire drills, severe weather, and evacuation procedures

·       Track maintenance schedules, service contracts, and facility documentation

·       Support manufacturing operations through infrastructure readiness and uptime

·       Manage facility budgets, purchase orders, and vendor invoicing

·       Partner cross-functionally with IT, Security, HR, and Operations teams

 

 Requirements

·       5+ years of experience in facilities management, workplace operations, or a related role (manufacturing or industrial environment preferred)

·       Experience managing vendors and service contracts across multiple building systems.

·       Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, fire/life safety codes, and general compliance requirements

·       Experience supporting office and/or light manufacturing environments

·       Strong project management skills with experience overseeing buildouts, renovations, or facility upgrades

·       Experience managing budgets, purchase orders, and vendor invoicing

·       Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to urgent issues

 

 Preferred

·       Experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing environments

·       Fire alarm, life safety, or emergency management experience

·       OSHA, Facilities, or Safety-related certification

 

Physical Requirements

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, climb ladders, and move about regularly throughout the day and lift / carry up to 50 pounds. Must have manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment as well as hand tools and basic power tools. Must be physically capable of inspecting mechanical rooms, rooftops, ceilings, and production areas.

 

 Work Environment

This position typically operates in a standard office and manufacturing environment. This role requires use of standard office equipment and involves exposure to machinery, electrical equipment, ladders, tools, and controlled hazardous materials common to manufacturing operations. Occasional travel to supplier facilities or test sites may be required. This position may have exposure to outdoor weather conditions, noise, and non-climate-controlled environments. May require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). This is a fast-paced work environment requiring cross-department collaboration with independent and team-based responsibilities. Standard work hours for this position are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with occasional overtime as operational needs demand.

 Total Compensation

The base pay range for this position is $75,000– $85,000 annually and this position may be eligible for bonuses and performance-based pay. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, skills, and market conditions.

If this position can be performed remotely from multiple states, the listed range reflects the typical pay range applicable to the U.S. locations where we operate.
