This isn’t a boring, scripted helpdesk job. You’ll be at the absolute heart of a live, real-time digital sports and racing product.


The Role

As a Customer Support Operator, you’ll be the voice of Picklebet, delivering high-quality, empathetic, and real-time support via live chat and email. You will:

  • Champion our customers: Own live chat and email conversations, solving everything from complex betting queries to technical glitches with speed and personality. 
  • Deliver industry-leading support: Build strong relationships with our customers while thriving in a fast-paced, real-time environment where priorities can shift quickly. 
  • Keep gaming safe: Support our Responsible Gambling commitments by identifying potential signs of customer harm, following safer gambling procedures, and helping maintain a safe and fair experience for all customers.
  • Bridge the gap to tech: Investigate customer feedback, escalate bugs and improvement opportunities, and collaborate cross-functionally with teams to improve the platform experience. 
  • Grow with us: This is a genuine entry-level role into the gaming space with opportunities to progress as our operations scale.


What We’re Looking For

Essential

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing or customer service role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills 
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to stay calm, empathetic & professional when handling customer concerns
  • Confidence working independently in a remote environment
  • Reliable home working setup and stable internet connection
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends
  • Betting industry experience and/or a genuine passion for Sport & Racing

Nice to Have

  • 2+ years of experience in betting, gaming, fintech, or other fast-moving digital environments
  • Experience using tools like Zendesk, Jira, or Confluence
  • A passion for racing and sport
