About the role

Due to significant growth, a new opportunity exists for an Assistant Company Secretary. This role reports to the Chief Legal, Risk and Compliance Officer and will provide company secretariat support to Pinnacle Investment Management Group Limited (ASX: PNI), its affiliated entities and listed investment companies.

What you'll do

  • Coordinating board and board committee meetings, compiling and distributing agendas and papers, recording of minutes and actions as well as preparing circulating resolutions;
  • Coordinating execution and filing of documents;
  • Maintaining statutory and other corporate registers;
  • Liaising as required with shareholders, ASX, ASIC and share registries
  • Preparing documents to shareholders including Annual Reports, Corporate Governance Statements and shareholder meeting documents;
  • Preparing and lodging ASX forms and approved market announcements;
  • Preparing and lodging ASIC forms; 
  • Driving process improvements and efficiencies in the company secretariat function; and
  • Provision of pragmatic, accurate and timely governance advice.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years prior company secretariat experience servicing ASX listed entities or in an ASX- listed entity;
  • Degree qualified;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Corporations Act 2001 and practical knowledge of ASIC requirements;
  • Experience and knowledge of the financial services industry;
  • Prior experience managing key events and activities for listed companies including annual general meetings, half year and full year results announcements; and
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
