About the role

Q4 Inc. is a leading capital markets communications platform, partnering with publicly traded companies globally to elevate investor relations experiences. We support earnings calls, investor days, and webcasts for thousands of organizations, delivering premium client service and seamless event execution.


Role Overview

We are seeking professional, articulate, and dependable Moderators to support our earnings call events. As we prepare for a projected increase in clients in the third quarter and an influx of digital conferencing events, we are expanding our team to ensure flawless execution. As the voice of Q4 on earnings calls, you will guide speakers and participants through investor relations events, ensuring a smooth, polished, and professional experience.


This contract position requires availability during peak earnings periods (~4 weeks each quarter). Successful candidates will demonstrate strong verbal communication skills, composure under pressure, and the ability to manage live Q&A sessions confidently.

Contract Dates & Hours

A guarantee of 100 hours for this season (~6 weeks) + a completion bonus of $500. Hours expected are generally 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM - 6:30 PM EST, with the potential for hours between.

•Training & Onboarding: Commences on July 13, 2026.

• Peak Season: Mid-July through late August (High availability required during these weeks).


What you'll do

  • Serve as the primary voice talent on earnings calls and investor events.
  • Deliver professional scripted introductions and speaker transitions.
  • Facilitate live Q&A sessions, including queue management and speaker handoffs.
  • Work closely with Q4 production and event teams to ensure event quality.
  • Provide a calm, clear, and professional presence throughout live events.
  • Follow established processes and event protocols.
  • Represent Q4 and our clients with confidence, clarity, and professionalism.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in moderation, voice work, broadcasting, corporate communications, investor relations, or live event hosting preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal communication, tone, diction, and high English proficiency.
  • Strong comfort level speaking live on high-profile corporate events.
  • Ability to multitask and follow call flow instructions in a live setting.
  • Reliable home office setup: strong internet connection, distraction-free environment, and a professional audio setup are strongly preferred.
  • Availability during quarterly earnings seasons (7:30 AM - 6:30 PM Monday-Friday).

Compensation & Pay Transparency: The anticipated annual gross base salary for this position is dependent on the candidate’s primary work location. Final compensation is determined by a candidate's unique skills, experience, and internal equity.

  • Canada: $30 - 35/HR + + quarterly completion bonus ($500)
