Product Manager

Quadrant Strategies is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead and manage the full lifecycle of our suite of proprietary tools currently in development. Quadrant is a market research and strategic advisory firm, and our tools are built to support and enhance the research methodologies at the core of our client work - including quantitative and qualitative studies, panel management, survey design and execution, and related data and insights platforms. This role will own these products end-to-end: from defining requirements with clients to managing delivery timelines, coordinating vendors, and ensuring that each tool reflects the precision and quality our clients expect.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned product professional who has operated within a mid-sized technology or research firm and has direct experience working alongside large, sophisticated clients - such as Fortune 500 companies or major technology platforms. They understand the gravitas and precision required when interfacing with enterprise clients, and are equally comfortable driving internal project momentum as they are sitting across the table from a demanding stakeholder. We are targeting delivery milestones within the next 4-8 weeks and require someone who can be productive from day one.

This opportunity is designed to bring the right person in immediately. We are open to initial engagements on a part-time or full-time contract basis, with the expectation of transitioning to a permanent position for the right candidate. The Product Manager will report to operations leadership, working at the intersection of research operations, client delivery, and product development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the primary project manager and day-to-day owner across all tools under development, including research tools (qual/quant/panel methodologies), AI-powered platforms, and related technology products
  • Create and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource trackers; proactively flag risks and keep all workstreams on schedule
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews and discovery sessions with clients to define requirements, validate assumptions, and align on product direction
  • Act as the central point of contact and go-to resource for all product-related matters - internally for the COO, technology leadership, and cross-functional teams, and externally for clients
  • Work directly with clients to define what deliverables look like, incorporating their feedback throughout the development process
  • Coordinate and manage relationships with external developers, vendors, and technical partners
  • Translate client and business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and briefs grounded in market research methodologies
  • Lead regular status updates and stakeholder communications; prepare and present project updates in a clear, structured format
  • Support the development of new product concepts and help prioritize the product roadmap in partnership with senior leadership

IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experienced product manager and project leader with a track record of delivering complex, multi-stakeholder products on time
  • Background working at a mid-sized technology or research firm with exposure to large enterprise clients (e.g., major technology platforms, media companies, financial institutions)
  • Highly skilled at client-facing communication; comfortable presenting to and managing expectations of sophisticated external stakeholders
  • Operationally sharp - builds clean project plans, tracks details, and follows through without prompting
  • Thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with the ability to bring structure and clarity
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to synthesize complex information for diverse audiences
  • Demonstrates excellent judgment, professionalism, and discretion
  • Familiarity with market research methodologies - including quantitative studies, qualitative research, and panel management - is a strong plus
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid or remote context across US and UK time zones

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 5–7 years of product management or equivalent project leadership experience
  • Previous experience at a technology company, management consultancy, research firm, or professional services firm
  • Demonstrated experience managing external client relationships in a product or consulting capacity
  • Authorization to work in the United States or United Kingdom
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. Monday.com or equivalent) and Microsoft Office / Google Workspace

ENGAGEMENT STRUCTURE

  • ~30–40 hrs/week; open to contract, contract-to-hire, or full-time. We are open to initial engagements on a part-time or full-time contract basis, with the expectation of transitioning to a permanent position for the right candidate
  • Offices in Washington, D.C., New York City, London, and Belgrade
  • Compensation competitive and commensurate with experience; open to hourly and salaried rate discussions. We are committed to finding the right candidate and will structure the engagement accordingly
  • Experience is the primary selection criterion - location is flexible within the US or UK
  • Immediate start preferred; we are targeting active engagement within the next 4–8 weeks
