About the Role:

We are looking for a Product Owner to work closely with the Product, Design and Engineering teams to turn product direction into well-executed delivery.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the sharp end of product delivery: understanding and clarifying customer problems, shaping scope and solution designs, keeping teams focused, and helping ideas become real, usable software.

You’ll play a key role in supporting the success and performance of our products, helping the team execute on clear priorities and continuously improve how the product performs, and deliver real value to customers.

This is more than feature delivery. You’ll be expected to understand how what the team ships affects usage and engagement and use that insight to improve delivery quality.

You will work within a product squad and take day-to-day ownership of delivery, including:

• Translating product goals and priorities into clear backlog items
• Writing well-scoped Epics, user stories and acceptance criteria
• Working with engineering and design to clarify requirements and trade-offs
• Supporting sprint planning, refinement and delivery rituals
• Keeping the backlog healthy, prioritised and focussed on customer outcomes.
• Supporting the team by tracking usage and engagement signals and feeding insights back into delivery and discovery.

You will act as the primary product contact for the squad day to day, while partnering closely with your Product Manager on direction and priorities.

About You:

Experience and capability

• Experience in a Product Owner, Associate PM, or similar delivery-focused product role
• Comfortable working in agile teams and sprint-based delivery
• Experience writing Epics, user stories, managing backlogs and supporting releases
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence and basic product analytics

How you work

• Enjoys working closely with engineers and designers to get work shipped
• Clear communicator who can help make the complex simple.
• Practical and organised, with good follow-through
• Curious about customer problems and how software solves them

Highly regarded experience:

• Experience in FinTech, hospitality tech, or other B2B SaaS products.
• Experience with accounting platforms, POS systems, or workforce/payroll products (e.g., Tanda, Deputy, Employment Hero) is a plus.
