Events Coordination - Multiple Levels

ABOUT RELENTLESS

Relentless is an organizing company focused on unlocking political power through relational organizing. Relational organizing is the simple, proven concept that people talking to their friends and family is more effective than strangers talking to strangers. Our flagship product, Rally, is a social graph, power-mapping tool, and program management platform that makes running scaled relational programs simple. Our in-house program team brings their deep experience to supercharge the programs that run on Rally and mobilize communities at scale to have meaningful conversations, get out the vote, and so much more.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Relentless motivates thousands of low-turnout voters to become relational organizers through high-energy, community-focused, and educational virtual events. Our events provide participants with an experience of enthusiasm, support, and confidence for the work they are doing—so they can continue to be trusted messengers to their communities.

The Events Manager executes these virtual events, maintaining consistent quality, supporting our participant-facing Program Organizers (POs), and troubleshooting participant issues in real time, always striving for improvement. They are the manager on duty for all of our events, and are responsible for adjusting and enhancing each program to boost participant completion.

The Events Coordinator lives and breathes event support, and acts as the first level of support for POs during their event shifts – answering the questions they can, escalating those they can’t, and keeping the Events Manager informed of how each event they were on went, observing and escalating any sticky spots or improvements that could be made.

Our program participants will come from a wide range of backgrounds and experience levels, and you should be genuinely excited by that — energized by meeting each one where they are and making sure everyone has what they need to complete our program and feel energized by their role in our country’s democracy.

While the Events Manager will lead, the Events Coordinator will support the team as together you lead check-in calls with POs for their events shifts, provide targeted feedback on PO performance, and make sure we are supporting our participants with the information and tools they need to successfully complete the program. The Events Team will own complex and escalated issues during events, loop in senior members of staff when necessary, and coordinate with multiple departments to answer participants' questions in a timely and efficient manner. The Events Manager makes the game plan, and the Events Coordinator helps to execute.
