Mission of the role
The Construction Manager’s mission is to oversee on-site execution of Riley projects, ensuring homes are built safely, efficiently, and to Riley’s standards of quality and sustainability. This role bridges the system-level vision of the Head of Construction with the realities of field operations — coordinating trades, solving problems in real time, and ensuring each project becomes a living example of Naturally Good Living.

Why This Role Matters
The Construction Manager is Riley’s front line in the field — the person who ensures our design system becomes reality, without compromise. This role is central to scaling from a handful of builds to hundreds, and to ensuring that Riley Projects become benchmarks of quality and sustainability.
Why This Role Might Not Be for You
If you want predictable routines, prefer managing from behind a desk, or shy away from accountability — this isn’t your role. The Construction Manager thrives in the intensity and ambiguity of field execution, balancing day-to-day leadership with Riley’s high standards.
But if you’re energized by building something new, solving problems in real time, and making sure excellence happens on the ground, then this role is your chance to help shape the future of living.
