Growth Lead, IT

About Rippling

Rippling gives businesses one place to run HR, IT, and Finance. It brings together all of the workforce systems that are normally scattered across a company, like payroll, expenses, benefits, and computers. For the first time ever, you can manage and automate every part of the employee lifecycle in a single system.

Take onboarding, for example. With Rippling, you can hire a new employee anywhere in the world and set up their payroll, corporate card, computer, benefits, and even third-party apps like Slack and Microsoft 365—all within 90 seconds.

Based in San Francisco, CA, Rippling has raised $1.4B+ from the world’s top investors—including Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, Sequoia, Greenoaks, and Bedrock—and was named one of America's best startup employers by Forbes.

About the role

We're hiring a Growth Lead to build and scale the growth engine for Rippling IT. This is not a traditional marketing role. You'll combine buyer obsession, technical depth, analytical rigor, and GTM creativity to turn our IT buyer context into repeatable growth strategies across paid channels, cross-sell, SDR outreach, lifecycle marketing, and product launch motions.

The world of IT has changed. The average employee now operates alongside dozens of AI tools and unreviewed OAuth grants. Shadow AI has become the new Shadow IT, with a far larger blast radius. The legacy IT stack — identity, MDM, ticketing, compliance as separate point tools — can't keep up.

Rippling IT is the IT infrastructure for the AI era: one platform that unifies identity, devices, and compliance on a single data graph, so policy is set once and enforced everywhere, for every employee and every agent. It is one of Rippling's most strategic and fastest-growing business lines, with an ambitious set of launches planned for the coming months.

This person will partner closely with Marketing, Sales, RevOps, BizOps, Product, and the IT GM. The job is to diagnose where growth is bottlenecked, build the system or play to unlock it, and then scale that motion through the teams already on the field. The bar is someone who can get deep into the weeds without getting stuck there: prioritize sharply, influence across functions, and turn analysis into shipped GTM motion.

What you will do

  • Develop a deep, ongoing understanding of the IT buyer through customer conversations, sales calls, win/loss analysis, product usage, competitive research and funnel data, using those insights to continuously reshape the GTM strategy
  • Own high-leverage growth programs for Rippling IT from problem diagnosis and buyer insight through testing, measurement, and scaled rollout
  • Turn validated IT buyer and product insights into coordinated growth plays across acquisition, cross-sell, SDR, lifecycle, field, partner, and product launch channels
  • Build AI-native, technically sophisticated GTM workflows across prospecting, audience building, enrichment, personalization, experimentation, routing, and campaign automation
  • Identify funnel and pipeline bottlenecks, then partner with RevOps, BizOps, GTM engineering, marketing, and sales to remove them
  • Partner with cross-sell marketing to develop plays that convert HR and Finance customers into IT customers
  • Partner with product marketing and demand generation on launches for an ambitious roadmap of path-breaking IT products
  • Move fluidly between strategy and execution: build the model, write the brief, inspect the data, pressure-test the message, and push the work across the finish line
  • Make the central IT GTM team more effective by creating repeatable systems, playbooks, and experiments that can scale 10x across many areas

What you will need

  • Experience in growth, GTM engineering, growth marketing, BizOps, RevOps, or another technical growth role at a high-growth B2B company; exact title matters less than demonstrated range and impact
  • Strong technical fluency and comfort using data, AI, automation, and modern GTM tooling to build scalable systems, not just dashboards or recommendations
  • A track record of identifying growth opportunities, prioritizing effectively, shipping experiments or programs, and scaling what works across teams
  • Excellent analytical judgment, with the ability to go deep without getting trapped in analysis or local optimization
  • Strong cross-functional influence: you can get work done through people you do not directly manage across sales, marketing, ops, product, and leadership
  • High clock speed, low ego, and a bias toward action in ambiguous, fast-changing environments
  • A clear, demonstrated point of view on AI in GTM, not as a buzzword, but as something you're using daily to change how growth work gets done
