About the role

Rippling is looking for a Content, Events, & Community Manager to engage with HR audiences. This role sits at the intersection of content, community, and events with a focus on identifying what HR and recruiting teams care about and turning those insights into useful editorial articles, content, community programming, and sessions for events.

You’ll write and edit practical, high-quality content for HR audiences, help run community programming, and be a key part of a team building virtual and in-person events that are a valuable resource for people leaders and support Rippling’s growth goals. The right person is a strong writer and editor with sharp audience instincts, strong project management skills, a data-driven mindset, and a genuine interest in the challenges HR teams face.

What you will do

  • Write and edit HR-focused content such as articles, newsletters, event recaps, discussion prompts, resource guides, interview pieces, and community-driven insights.
  • Develop content that helps HR leaders navigate topics like workforce planning, employee experience, compliance, performance, compensation, culture, benefits, and people operations.
  • You’ll also help grow and engage The Glue, our community for HR leaders and practitioners and lead programming and content strategy for AI Academy, our monthly live program and community flywheel helping HR leaders tackle seasonal challenges with AI workflows.
  • Partner with internal teams and external experts to source timely, credible, and useful ideas for the HR community.
  • Support community events, including speaker prep, programming, promotion, live execution, follow-up content, and post-event recaps.
  • Turn community conversations, event themes, customer questions, and HR trends into content ideas and repeatable editorial series.
  • Edit contributions from internal partners, community members, freelancers, and subject-matter experts so the final work is clear, accurate, useful, and on-brand.
  • Help manage the editorial calendar across content, community programming, and events.
  • Track what resonates with the community and use engagement data, qualitative feedback, and member insights to improve future programming.

What you will need

  • 4+ years of experience in content marketing, editorial, community, communications, events, or a related role.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to make complex workplace or HR topics clear and compelling.
  • Experience creating content for HR, people operations, workplace, leadership, or business audiences.
  • Experience supporting or programming events, webinars, roundtables, panels, community conversations, or similar audience-facing formats.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to keep multiple content and community workstreams moving at once.
  • Good editorial judgment: you can identify what is useful, what is generic, and what needs a sharper angle.
  • Comfort working with cross-functional partners, subject-matter experts, speakers, and external contributors.
  • A community-first mindset and interest in creating programming that feels useful, credible, and worth returning to.
  • Familiarity with AI workflows, prompts, and tools (e.g., Claude, Rippling AI) and how they apply to practical HR and people operations use cases.
  • Technical acumen and understanding of HR systems for hiring, payroll, onboarding, etc.
  • Metrics acumen: ability to measure program impact, report results, and optimize performance based on data.
  • Experience with social media content creation and distribution across social channels, and driving community growth via social platforms.
