IT Support Specialist II

Knowledgeable and service-driven, the IT Support Specialist II provides advanced technical support and guidance across our organization. This position helps maintain a high standard of IT support service, efficiency, and technical reliability at all levels of the business.


What you'll do

  • Provide advanced (tier-two) level support to users across various locations in Saskatchewan, including hardware/software installation and troubleshooting.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of Windows Server, Active Directory, and modern work practices including M365, Teams, SharePoint and One Drive.
  • Together with the IT team, maintain an efficient, productive and collaborative helpdesk environment.
  • Provide strategic and technical advice, identify issues, risks and recommendations to project teams, stakeholders, and management.
  • Provide guidance to junior IT staff on best practices and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Create and maintain proper documentation according to procedures.
  • Additional duties include cross training and covering requests from different tiers as needed.


What you'll bring

  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
  • Diploma, degree, or equivalent training in a related IT field.
  • Five (5)+ years of IT support experience.
  • Experience handling high volumes of IT support tickets in a fast-paced and dynamic corporate network environment.
  • Proficiency with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Relevant certifications such as A+, MCSE, or ITIL.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated resourcefulness and a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.


Compensation

The expected compensation range for this role is $63,377.60 to $75,833.30 per year. Placement within the range will be based on demonstrated skills, relevant experience, and internal equity considerations.
