POSITION SUMMARY

The Regional Manager is responsible for developing and executing statewide sales strategies across both Retail and On-Premise channels to expand Still Austin’s market presence, drive sustainable volume growth, and strengthen brand advocacy throughout the assigned state.

This role oversees distributor partnerships, market execution, team development, key account strategy, and financial performance while serving as a primary liaison between Still Austin, distributor partners, and key customers.

Success in this role requires strategic leadership, strong distributor management expertise, and the ability to balance brand-building with disciplined commercial execution across multiple channels. The Regional Manager plays a critical role in ensuring alignment between sales, marketing, operations, and production while building a high-performing organization grounded in accountability, development, and relationship-driven leadership.

Balance aggressive commercial growth with Still Austin’s values, brand integrity, and long-term relationship focus.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Statewide Sales Strategy

  • Own statewide Retail and On-Premise sales strategy, including distribution priorities, key account growth, volume targets, and market expansion initiatives
  • Develop and execute market-level go-to-market plans across priority territories, chains, and hospitality groups
  • Identify opportunities to grow market share, brand visibility, and account penetration throughout the assigned state

Distributor Management

  • Lead distributor management strategy in partnership with distributor partners
  • Serve as a trusted supplier partner while advocating for local market needs and strategic priorities
  • Drive distributor alignment through regular communication, ride-withs, performance reviews, and market planning

Retail Channel Leadership

  • Oversee retail programming, displays, pricing strategies, promotional initiatives, and chain execution
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key retail buyers and regional chain partners
  • Drive retail visibility, merchandising standards, and programming execution across the state

On-Premise Channel Leadership

  • Develop cocktail, menu placement, back bar, and activation strategies within key hospitality accounts and regional groups
  • Strengthen relationships with bartenders, beverage directors, hospitality operators, and On-Premise decision-makers
  • Drive education, advocacy, and experiential engagement within the hospitality channel

Financial & Operational Management

  • Manage statewide sales budgets and P&L initiatives to ensure financial discipline and profitability
  • Oversee inventory forecasting in collaboration with distributors, operations, and production teams
  • Monitor sales performance, KPIs, and distributor execution across all markets and channels

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Marketing and Field Marketing teams to drive effective consumer engagement, merchandising, activations, and programming
  • Coordinate with Operations, Production, and Leadership teams to align supply planning with growth initiatives
  • Provide regular market insights, performance updates, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership

Compliance & Industry Representation

  • Ensure all Retail and On-Premise sales activities adhere to industry regulations and compliance standards
  • Represent Still Austin at industry events, customer meetings, distributor functions, and market activations throughout the assigned state

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Conduct ongoing market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and competitive activity across the assigned state
  • Monitor and report on statewide sales performance, depletion trends, KPIs, and distributor execution
  • Build and maintain executive-level customer and distributor relationships
  • Drive education and advocacy through trainings, tastings, presentations, and brand storytelling
  • Plan and execute market visits, ride-withs, performance reviews, and strategic planning sessions
  • Partner with leadership to evaluate growth opportunities, organizational needs, and market investments

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications

·. Must live in CO State

·. High school diploma or state-issued equivalency certificate

·       Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of supplier, distributor, or CPG sales experience reflecting increasing responsibility; OR

·       High school diploma or equivalency plus 6 years of supplier or distributor sales experience reflecting increasing responsibility

·       Proven experience managing distributor relationships

·       Strong leadership, selling, time management, and public speaking skills

·       Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record

·       Ability to travel frequently by air and car throughout the assigned state

·       Must be 21 years of age or older

·       Ability to obtain required liquor licenses as mandated by state or locality

·       Ability to see, taste, and smell whiskey as part of job duties

·       Availability to work nights and weekends as required

Preferred Qualifications

·       Experience developing and executing both Retail and On-Premise sales strategies within the spirits or beverage alcohol industry

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and market trends

·       Experience managing pricing strategies, promotional programming, and distributor planning

·       Demonstrated ability to anticipate market trends and build competitive strategies

·       Executive presence and strong presentation skills

·       Proven ability to adapt communication approaches to different audiences

·       Highly proactive, results-oriented, and self-directed

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This role requires the ability to:

·       Travel extensively by air and car throughout the assigned state

·       Stand, walk, and move for extended periods during market visits, store walks, customer meetings, and events

·       Perform sensory evaluation of whiskey products for education and sales purposes

·       Lift and transport product, event materials, and display items as needed

·       Communicate clearly in person, by phone, and in written formats
