We are hiring an additional Design Consultant to join our Boston team. 

What You Will Earn 

Our average Design Consultants earn $140,000 per year after their first full year, and our top 20% earn $170,000–$200,000+. These are actual earnings from our team - we’ll walk you through real examples during your interview. 

• $6,000 per month guaranteed salary plus commission during your 12-week paid training period

• 30–35 pre-scheduled appointments per month with high-intent buyers actively investing in their homes.

• Only 2 Saturdays per month — compare this to the 5–6 night and weekend schedules at most in-home remodeling companies. 

• 2 Appointments per day. No evening cold calls. 

• Company-provided iPhone, Laptop, and professional design sample kit — fully stocked for every appointment. 

• Every mile, parking fee, and toll is fully reimbursed. 

• Dedicated installation and operations teams handle everything after you close — you sell, they execute.

A Typical Week 

• Monday–Friday: 2 pre-scheduled in-home appointments per day, typically 90–120 minutes each 

• 2 Saturdays per month, 1–2 appointments each 

• 2–3 hours of driving on lighter days; up to 5 hours on heavier ones (all mileage reimbursed) 

• Morning prep from home, then appointments throughout the greater Boston metro area 

• End of day: notes, pipeline follow-up, and coordination with our operations and installation teams

• Strong backgrounds include: Design Consultants at The Shade Store, 3 Day Blinds, or Hunter Douglas dealers; Sales Consultants at Renewal by Andersen, Pella, or Champion; Design Consultants at California Closets or Ethan Allen; Personal Stylists or Sales Associates at Restoration Hardware, Arhaus, or Nordstrom; new-home sales consultants. 

What we verify at the offer stage: 

• Verifiable top-quartile sales performance (we will ask for performance metrics like sales rankings, customer reviews or sales awards like President’s Club) 

• Residence within 30 minutes of central Boston

• Valid driver’s license and insured personal vehicle 

• Comfortable lifting up to 35 lbs (design sample kit) 

The Honest Preview 

We want you to stay and succeed, so here is the full picture. 

• You will drive 2–5 hours on most days. We reimburse every mile, but the driving is real. 

• Your guaranteed $6,000 per month salary plus commission runs for 12 weeks, then transitions to uncapped commission. 

• Some appointments will be rescheduled at the last minute. It is part of the role. 

• You will work 2 Saturdays per month and take a day off the following week.
