About StrongMind

StrongMind is a remote-first education and technology company on a mission to transform learning for students, families, and educators across the country. For more than 25 years, we’ve partnered with schools and districts to deliver innovative, student-centered learning experiences powered by technology, compassion, and bold thinking.

We believe education should be flexible, human, and built for real life. That belief shapes how we design our products, support our partners, and work together as a team. At StrongMind, you’ll find smart people doing meaningful work, a culture rooted in trust and accountability, and leaders who genuinely care about both outcomes and people.

The Team You Will Join

You’ll be part of the Product team, working closely with Engineering, UX, AI, and cross-functional stakeholders across the organization. This team is responsible for shaping and delivering the core learning experiences that power StrongMind’s platforms for students, teachers, and families.

The team culture is innovative, fast-moving, and mission-driven, with opportunities to influence product strategy, explore emerging technologies, and build experiences that directly impact how learning happens.

The Difference You Will Make

In this role, your work will directly impact students, teachers, and families by shaping AI-native learning experiences that improve real educational outcomes.

You’ll help define what modern, AI-powered education looks like—building systems that support personalized learning, reduce friction for educators, and create meaningful engagement for families. Your work will go beyond feature delivery, contributing to how StrongMind evolves its platforms to better serve learners in a rapidly changing technological landscape.

A Typical Day Looks Like

While no two days are exactly the same, you can expect to:

  • Define product strategy and direction for key platform areas, grounding decisions in user needs, data, and outcomes.
  • Lead discovery efforts through research, stakeholder conversations, and analysis of user behavior and feedback.
  • Develop clear problem statements, hypotheses, and success metrics to guide product decisions.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, UX, and AI teams to translate ideas into well-defined product requirements and solutions.
  • Use AI tools and workflows to accelerate research, prototyping, and decision-making.
  • Analyze product performance, run experiments, and iterate based on measurable impact.

This role balances strategic thinking, hands-on product work, and cross-functional collaboration, and is well-suited for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, building innovative products, and working at the intersection of technology and education.

Your Expertise Includes

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with a track record of shipping impactful products or features.
  • Strong command of modern product practices, including discovery, strategy, delivery, and iteration.
  • Experience working in B2C or high-scale user environments where usability, engagement, and adoption are critical.
  • Ability to define, track, and interpret KPIs to guide product decisions and measure success.
  • Strong analytical thinking and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Experience collaborating closely with Engineering, UX, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and driving clarity in complex situations.
  • Experience using AI tools as part of product workflows to enhance research, prototyping, and execution.

Bonus points if you also have:

  • A technical background or experience working closely with engineering teams on system design and architecture.
  • Experience building AI-powered or AI-enabled products.
  • Background in EdTech, K–12 education, or learning product development.
  • Experience with highly interactive or mobile product experiences.

We believe that when people feel supported, they do their best work. At StrongMind, your well-being isn’t a perk—it’s part of our culture. Our commitment to you includes:

  • A competitive total compensation package, including medical, dental, vision, and voluntary benefits
  • Well-being that works for real life—from an on-site gym, virtual wellness programs, and wellness coaching to flexible work options for select roles, because your well-being fuels your brilliance
  • Unlimited PTO for exempt roles, plus additional “life happens” days when you need flexibility
