You will serve as the primary on-site technical presence, delivering white-glove support while collaborating with our remote Senior IT team, which manages overall cloud policies and architecture.


Position Summary

T2 Group is seeking a motivated Systems Engineer to join our Engineering team. This position is ideal for a hands-on IT support engineer dedicated to providing white-glove, customer-focused service to VIP end users.

The Systems Engineer provides onsite endpoint management, system deployments, device enrollment via Microsoft Autopilot and Intune, and direct troubleshooting. You will connect in person and via remote support tools and elevate remote admin access to end-user systems to resolve issues directly while relying on the remote Senior IT team for advanced Intune, Purview, Defender, SharePoint, and Exchange administration.

Must be able to work onsite full-time at the client site in Costa Mesa, CA, with occasional travel to Los Angeles.


Responsibilities

  • Provide white-glove, high-touch Tier 1 technical support for Windows workstations, Microsoft 365 applications, mobile devices, printers, and peripheral equipment onsite.

·        Enroll, configure, and provision endpoint devices using Microsoft Autopilot and Microsoft Intune.

  • Initiate remote support connections and safely elevate remote administrative privileges on end-user machines to perform hands-on troubleshooting and remediation directly.
  • Assist with administration of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Okta, Windows endpoints, and identity/access management.
  • Support user provisioning, onboarding, offboarding, password resets, MFA configuration, group memberships, and access requests within Okta, Entra ID, and M365 services.
  • Troubleshoot endpoint, application, network (Wi-Fi, VPN, local connectivity), authentication, and Microsoft 365 issues using a structured troubleshooting methodology.
  • Assist with workstation deployments, hardware replacements, operating system imaging, software installations, and endpoint configuration.
  • Perform routine system maintenance including patching verification, endpoint compliance monitoring, software deployment, and inventory management.
  • Maintain accurate documentation including technical procedures, support records, knowledge base articles, and asset inventory.
  • Follow established ITIL service management, change management, security, and documentation processes.
  • Escalate complex Purview, Defender, Exchange, or architectural issues appropriately to the Senior IT team while providing detailed troubleshooting documentation.
  • Deliver professional, customer-focused white-glove support while maintaining excellent communication with end users and project stakeholders.


Qualifications

Required

  • 2–4 years of experience in IT support, desktop engineering, systems administration, or endpoint management.
  • Experience supporting Windows 11 and Microsoft 365.

·        Hands-on familiarity with Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Autopilot device enrollment and deployment processes.

·        Demonstrated experience utilizing remote support elevation tools to troubleshoot and remediate endpoints directly.

    • TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Excellent white-glove customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple support requests while following established processes.

 

 

 

Preferred

CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate. Prior experience supporting critical infrastructure or VIP enterprise accounts.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent/continuous sitting with occasional standing and walking throughout client facilities.
  • Frequent use of hands for computer work, hardware setup, cable management, and technical equipment.
  • Occasional lifting and carrying of computers, monitors, and related equipment up to 40 pounds.
