About the role

Reporting to the Director of Retail and Wholesale, the Head of Visual Merchandising owns how T2 shows up in every store, concession and partner space we occupy. From flagship windows to feature tables, you'll set the strategy, hold the standard and make sure every space tells a clear, unmistakably T2 story, while carrying a real commercial target alongside the creative one.

You'll bring bold creative instinct and sharp commercial judgement in equal measure, reading trade, traffic and conversion data as fluently as you read a floor plan. This role is as much about building the next chapter of the T2 store experience, think scent, taste, touch and in-store theatre, as it is about protecting the standard we're judged on today. You'll lead a small team, coach a much bigger one across the network, and put AI and automation to work so more of your time goes into craft, not admin.

Key responsibilities

  • Owning the visual merchandising strategy, and resetting and holding the core standards it rests on, covering hardware, signage, fixtures and sensory baselines, before any innovation layer goes on top
  • Directing every campaign in store from concept to post-launch review, building high-conversion windows that stop foot traffic
  • Delivering visual merchandising for new stores, refits, concessions and emerging formats including Brew Bar and Blend Bar
  • Building a multi-sensory store experience, covering scent, taste, touch and sight, piloted and measured before it earns a network rollout
  • Owning the VM operating budget, and appointing, negotiating and managing print, prop and fixture suppliers
  • Using AI-supported planogramming, space optimisation and digital tools to sharpen decisions and cut manual effort across briefing, kit production and reporting

About you

  • Significant senior visual merchandising experience in a multi-site retail network, owning strategy, standards and budget for a function, and translating it into consistent execution across a dispersed network
  • Commercial confidence: able to read trade, traffic and conversion data, size an opportunity and defend an investment decision with numbers
  • Experience delivering visual merchandising for new stores, refits and concessions, working alongside store design and project teams
  • Experience designing & measuring experiential or sensory retail concepts, with the discipline to pilot before scaling
  • A genuine, actively used relationship with AI and automation to lift productivity and sharpen analysis
  • Experience leading a small team and coaching people who don't report to you, and confidence presenting to executive stakeholders
  • Genuine interest in tea, brewing and premium customer experience, with the curiosity to learn a large, seasonal range in depth
