Job Purpose

This role owns EDI for Tecnica Group North America. You'll keep orders, ship notices and invoices moving between our brands and the retailers who sell them. This role is open to be based in Salt Lake City, UT or West Lebanon, NH.

Day to day, you'll run and improve our Cleo EDI environment and support our trading partners. You'll also support the integration project between Cleo and SAP and ensure successful migration of all North American EDI Retailers. You'll work closely with our Digital Technology team, our SAP project lead and the business teams who rely on EDI every day.

Duties and Responsibilities

EDI on Cleo

•       Own day-to-day EDI operations: monitor transactions, catch and fix errors before they reach a customer or a warehouse, and keep the data flowing

•       Build and maintain maps and partner connections (AS2, SFTP, VAN) for orders, acknowledgments, ship notices, invoices, inventory and remittance

•       Onboard new trading partners and handle changes to retailer specs and compliance requirements

SAP transition

•       Serve on the EDI project team for the SAP rollout: document how EDI works today, workarounds included, and help design how it should work in SAP

•       Map EDI transactions to SAP and work with our SAP project lead and HQ team to align to the global standard

•       Plan and run testing with trading partners and internal teams, then support go-live and hypercare for each brand and country

Keep legacy systems steady through the transition

•       Provide light support for iSeries EDI processes until they're retired

•       Help plan a clean move to SAP for each trading partner, maintaining business continuity through seasonal transitions

•       Support data migration from iSeries to SAP

Connect EDI to the rest of the business

•       Partner with Customer Service, Sales, Finance and Operations to solve order, shipping and invoicing issues at the root

•       Support integration with our 3PL partners (including Radial) and our B2B and DTC platforms where EDI touches them

•       Keep clear documentation: partner specs, maps, flow diagrams and runbooks someone else could pick up

Qualifications and Education

Required

•       8+ years of hands-on EDI development and support in a manufacturing, wholesale or retail environment

•       Experience integrating EDI with SAP through IDocs (ORDERS, DELVRY, INVOIC or similar), including monitoring and troubleshooting inbound and outbound processing

•       Experience building maps and setting up partner connections over AS2, SFTP and VANs

•       A track record of onboarding trading partners and working directly with retailer EDI and compliance teams

•       Comfort explaining technical problems to non-technical colleagues, and patience doing it more than once

Preferred

•       Cleo experience (Integration Cloud, Harmony or Clarify), or deep experience with a comparable platform like IBM Sterling or SPS Commerce

•       Experience on an SAP implementation or migration, especially S/4HANA

•       Working knowledge of ABAP, enough to read and debug IDoc-related code

•       Exposure to IBM iSeries/AS400 environments

•       Familiarity with API-based integrations alongside EDI

•       Experience with 3PL integrations and outdoor, sporting goods or footwear retail partners

Education

•       Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience

Working Conditions

•       Hybrid role based out of our West Lebanon, NH or Salt Lake City, UT offices

•       Occasional travel, including possible trips to our global HQ in Giavera, Italy

•       Some flexibility needed around go-lives and peak shipping seasons, when issues can't always wait until morning

•       Office-based work, mostly at a computer. Reasonable accommodations are available to help people with disabilities do the essential functions of the job.
