Job Summary

The Cashier is responsible for providing friendly and efficient customer service at the checkout counter. This role includes processing transactions accurately, assisting customers with purchases and inquiries, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
2. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked checkout area.
3. Follow store policies and procedures for returns, exchanges, discounts, and other transactions.
4. Provide friendly, helpful, and professional customer service.
5. Travel to and work at other store locations as needed.
6. Bend, lift, open, and move products and fixtures weighing up to 30 lbs. as needed.

Qualifications

1. Previous cashier or retail experience preferred but not required.
2. Strong customer service and communication skills.
3. Basic math skills with strong attention to detail.
4. Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced retail environment.
5. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
