Who We’re Looking For:

Therabody is seeking an International Retail Merchandising Manager to own the end-to-end project management of retail merchandising programs across key international retail partners throughout UK, EU and APAC. This role will oversee projects from concept design through to final execution, ensuring merchandising initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with Therabody's premium brand standards. The successful candidate will lead merchandising programs across major international retail partners including John Lewis, Harrods, Boots, Currys, MediaMarkt, Harvey Norman and other strategic regional accounts. The ideal candidate is both creative and strategic, with a strong eye for design, deep understanding of international retail environments, and the ability to translate Therabody's brand identity into compelling, conversion-driving in-store experiences across diverse markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of international retail merchandising programs, from initial concept through to in-store deployment.
  • Develop comprehensive project briefs and manage the vendor tender process, including supplier selection, negotiations and contract finalization.
  • Manage external design agencies and production partners to deliver 3D renderings, technical drawings and production-ready assets for new installations and retrofit programs.
  • Ensure merchandising solutions meet shopper needs, retailer requirements and local market considerations while maintaining Therabody’s global brand standards.
  • Collaborate with internal brand and creative teams to develop high-quality print and digital assets for displays.
  • Own project timelines, proactively managing milestones, dependencies and risks.
  • Work cross-functionally with operations and logistics teams to manage product forecasting, SKU setup and shipping.
  • Partner with regional field team partners to ensure displays are installed, maintained and audited to the highest standards.
  • Adapt global visual merchandising strategies to meet regional retailer requirements while preserving brand consistency and premium execution.
  • Measure merchandising effectiveness through regular retail audits, sales performance analysis and post-implementation reviews, identifying opportunities to improve execution and drive conversion.
  • Manage merchandising budgets, ensuring project costs are accurately tracked and reported.
  • Manage administrative processes including purchase orders, invoices, project documentation and executive presentation materials.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in retail merchandising, visual merchandising or retail marketing, ideally within consumer electronics, health tech, or premium lifestyle brands.
  • Demonstrated experience working international retail partners such as John Lewis, Boots, MediaMarkt, Currys or similar retailers.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex merchandising projects end-to-end, balancing creative vision with operational and budget discipline.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives across regions and time zones.
  • Fluency in design processes including briefing creative teams/external vendors, and reading technical drawings.
  • Experience managing production suppliers, procurement processes and merchandising agencies.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to measure success and implement improvements.
  • Meticulous attention to detail paired with a high standard of execution.
  • Passion for retail, design, and customer experience.
  • Proficiency with tools including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/InDesign/Illustrator) and project management platforms.
