Case Manager


Our Anxiety and OCD Program is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Case Manager to join our team. This position will report directly to the Program Coordinator. Primary work location will be in-person at our 455 Hill Street Reno, NV 89501 location. This position is classified as salary, exempt.

Qualifications: 

  • A 4-year degree in a related field is required.
  • Excellent communication skills. 
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology as it relates to substance use/mental health disorders. 
  • Proficient in spelling, grammar, multi-tasking. 
  • Strong commuter skills - EMR, Microsoft/Google programs, insurance web portals. 
  • Self-starter who learns quickly.
  • Demonstrates competency and sensitivity in the areas of multicultural, racial, religious/spiritual, gender, gender identity, gender expression  and sexual orientation issues. 

Requirements: 

  • Must pass a federal background check at hire and every 3 years.
  • Must adhere to the drug-free workplace act. 
  • Demonstrate maturity of judgment, attitude, and life skills. 
  • Must demonstrate an ability to adapt to change and remain flexible. 
  • Must be a strong team player that works well in a busy environment. 
  • Must have strong communication skills and be upbeat, positive, and professional when interacting with clients, providers and fellow co-workers.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively prioritize and manage your time unsupervised & independently. 

Duties: 

  • Main liaison/point of contact between client/parent and treatment team.
  • Responsible for communicating treatment recommendations to clients, parents of clients, and other responsible parties clearly and understandable to all parties. 
  • Coordinates care between other providers, requesting and sending medical records if needed. 
  • Completes new client orientation with clients and or parents.
  • Documents all communications with clients, family members, parents, treatment team, medical staff and any other provider.
  • Participate in client/family meetings when needed. 
  • Eating Disorder Program: Join at least one meal and one snack per week. 
  • Collaborates with Program Manager, Clinical Lead, and other staff about any client/program need.
  • Other duties as assigned.
