About the Role

 When you step into the role as Billing & Compensation Specialist at Triad Wealth Partners, LLC (“Triad Wealth”), you will be responsible for owning the accuracy, integrity, and scalability of billing and advisor compensation processes.


This role combines technical expertise, risk management, and process leadership to ensure billing operations run efficiently and accurately while supporting a seamless advisor experience. You will play a key role in building controls, improving systems, and supporting strategic initiatives as the firm continues to grow.




Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end billing and advisor compensation processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Perform and oversee pre-billing audits, reconciliation processes, and post-billing validations
  • Monitor and resolve billing exceptions, data discrepancies, and system errors
  • Maintain data integrity across Orion and custodial systems
  • Design, implement, and enhance billing controls to mitigate operational and financial risk
  • Conduct ongoing risk assessments and recommend process improvements
  • Partner with Finance, Compliance, and Operations to ensure alignment and accuracy
  • Support complex billing scenarios including custom pricing, tiered fee structures, and one-off arrangements
  • Drive automation and system enhancements to reduce manual processes and increase scalability
  • Support M&A integrations, onboarding of new advisors, and billing transitions
  • Analyze trends, identify root causes of issues, and implement long-term solutions
  • Assist in training internal teams and advisors on billing and compensation processes
  • Promote a strong culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement




Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in billing, compensation, or operations within financial services
  • Strong understanding of advisory fee structures, billing cycles, and compensation models
  • Experience with audit, controls, and risk management frameworks
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Experience with Orion, Salesforce, and custodial platforms preferred
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on scalability and efficiency


This position offers in-office, hybrid, and remote work arrangements (if residing more than 45 miles from Lawrence, Kansas). You'll work with your leader to determine which option best aligns with your situation.
