Veracity Insurance Opportunities

SEO Manager

At Veracity, we aim to be a different kind of insurance partner – one that is free from outside investors, venture capital, or the pressures of a corporate parent.

Ours is a culture of empowerment – one that believes in effort, results, and accountability. We believe that transparency fosters trust, trust fosters growth, and that growth drives innovation. Our commitment to rigorous evaluation and relentless execution lead to rapid evolution.

We answer only to the small business owners we serve, and this independence allows us to stay focused on what matters most: helping their businesses thrive by providing expert guidance and best-in-class insurance policies.

We’re growing fast and want you to be a part of it!

If you’re the kind of SEO leader who can turn strategy into systems, coach a strong team, and tell the difference between meaningful growth and random acts of optimization, this remote role should feel familiar.

We’re seeking an SEO Manager to lead organic growth across a portfolio of brands and products. This is a leadership-first role reporting to the Director of Content, with ownership of SEO strategy and day-to-day SEO operations across technical SEO, on-page optimization, off-page authority building, reporting, and AI-influenced search visibility.

You’ll lead a team of 4+ SEO Specialists, raise execution quality, improve operational consistency, and build scalable SEO systems that support business growth. You’ll also partner closely with Content, PMM, Design, Digital Marketing, Dev/Data, WordPress resources, and Paid to identify, prioritize, and execute the work most likely to move the needle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of SEO Specialists
  • Set clear expectations, quality standards, workflows, and growth paths across the team
  • Own SEO strategy across Veracity brands and products, including technical SEO, on-page SEO, off-page SEO, reporting, governance, and emerging AI search visibility opportunities
  • Build repeatable plays, SOPs, QA standards, and prioritization frameworks that improve consistency, speed, and output quality
  • Guide dashboards and reporting that connect SEO performance to meaningful business outcomes
  • Evaluate and implement AI-assisted workflows and automations that improve execution without sacrificing judgment, accuracy, or stakeholder trust
  • Partner cross-functionally to improve site health, search visibility, landing page performance, and conversion opportunities.
  • Required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of SEO experience spanning hands-on execution and strategy
  • Strong depth in technical SEO, on-page optimization, off-page SEO, site architecture, and performance reporting
  • Experience leading SEO initiatives across multiple brands, products, sites, or business lines
  • Strong people leadership and coaching skills; prior direct people management experience is strongly preferred
  • Comfort operating as a player/coach when needed, whether that means reviewing work, troubleshooting issues, or jumping into high-priority initiatives
  • Experience with tools such as GA4, Google Search Console, seoClarity, WordPress, Semrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog
  • Practical experience using AI and automation to improve research, QA, reporting, and workflow efficiency
  • Strong communication, prioritization, and stakeholder-management skills in a multi-team environment.

Perks

  • Health, dental, and vision plans
  • Amazing work-life balance with 4 weeks of Paid Time Off
  • 10 Paid Company Holidays with 2 floating holidays
  • 401K Programs with employer match
  • Personal assistance programs for support in a healthy personal and work life
