Lead NQA-1 Auditor

We are seeking an experienced Lead NQA-1 Auditor to support quality assurance and compliance activities for a manufacturer of nuclear components. This role is responsible for planning and conducting audits, evaluating quality programs, and ensuring compliance with ASME NQA-1, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, lead, and perform internal, supplier, and external audits in accordance with ASME NQA-1 requirements
  • Evaluate quality assurance programs, procedures, and manufacturing processes for compliance with customer and regulatory requirements
  • Document audit results, identify nonconformances, and verify corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Interface with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and customer representatives during audit activities
  • Support supplier qualification, oversight, and surveillance activities
  • Assist with customer, third-party, and regulatory audits and assessments
  • Promote a strong quality culture and ensure adherence to established quality assurance requirements

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience with audits under ASME NQA-1
  • Working knowledge of nuclear quality assurance requirements, corrective action programs, and supplier oversight
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
