About the role

Kick-start your career with YASA’s 4-year Engineering Apprenticeship in Manufacturing, delivered in partnership with OAS College. This hands-on programme provides the opportunity to gain industry-recognised qualifications while working with advanced technology in a real-world manufacturing environment. You'll earn while you learn, develop valuable engineering skills, and receive support throughout your apprenticeship journey.

Qualifications to be acheived:

  • Level 2 Engineering Operative (Manufacturing).
  • Level 3 Advanced Manufacturing Technician.


What you'll do

  • Work with advanced manufacturing technologies in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Develop practical engineering skills through a combination of on-the-job training and academic study.
  • Gain hands-on experience across manufacturing operations and engineering processes.
  • Earn industry-recognised qualifications while building your career.

Skills & Experience

Required:

  • Achieved or predicted GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4/C or above.
  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs, including Science.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • A positive attitude towards learning and personal development.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A commitment to completing both the workplace and academic elements of the apprenticeship.


Desirable:

  • An interest in engineering and manufacturing.
  • A passion for technology and problem-solving.
  • An eagerness to develop practical, hands-on skills.


Development Opportunities

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, candidates may have the opportunity to progress into permanent roles such as Engineering Technician, Maintenance Technician, or Manufacturing Engineer.
