Zaden Technologies is a defense technology company based in Huntsville, Alabama. We build AI, DevSecOps and digital engineering products and put them to work for DoD customers.

Keep the Windows and Linux systems under a 2,000-plus VM DoD test environment patched, hardened and running.

You'll support a new Defense Health Agency program. This position is contingent upon contract award, and the start date will align with the program start.

What you'll do:

• Administer Windows Server and Linux systems across two enclaves
• Run patching and STIG compliance and close scan findings
• Lead system-level troubleshooting for test events
• Mentor systems administrators and write runbooks

Must have:

• 8 or more years in systems administration
• Windows Server and Linux administration, including Active Directory
• Experience applying DISA STIGs and closing vulnerability findings
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and keep the background investigation DHA designates for this position
• DoD 8140 qualification for your work role before privileged access, or the ability to earn it within six months

Nice to have:

• vSphere experience
• Ansible or PowerShell automation
• An active Secret clearance or higher

Location: Chantilly, Virginia, on site at the test center, with work at the Ashburn, Virginia data center as needed.

Citizenship: U.S. citizenship is required for the investigation this role needs. Zaden's FSO verifies investigation status.

Pay range: $99,000 to $153,000 per year for Chantilly, Virginia.
