As a Managing Director of Development Services, you will be responsible for the growth of our solar and/or storage development portfolio of high-quality sites located in various markets throughout the United States. The ideal candidate will have renewable energy experience with a strong understanding of utility infrastructure and land title records and curatives. Must be highly organized, have attention to detail, and strong communication skills. Must have a track record of consistent achievement managing a division or organization consisting of several teams. As a Managing Director of Development Services, you will be responsible for leading the Development Services team to secure site control on sites identified as having strategic value for renewable energy development and maintaining a healthy early-stage development pipeline. You will continue to manage and work with the team to deploy a variety of tactics to make contact, engage, build relationships, and secure definitive land deals with target landowners. You will lean on your business development experience, renewable energy experience, and strong understanding of utility infrastructure to inform strategy and goals for the team and build on a solid track record of consistent achievement. You will be responsible for owning goals and strategy for the team, leading the team to meet their targets, and making early-stage project development decisions for handoff to the Development team. In this position you will report to the SVP of Project Development, and as such your key responsibilities will continue to include but not be limited to the following:
