Bookmans Entertainment Exchange has been serving Arizona communities for nearly 50 years. Originally a used bookstore, Bookmans has expanded to include various forms of media such as books, video games, music and movies as well as musical instruments, housewares, and collectibles. We buy, sell, and trade with our customers to acquire the majority of our inventory, proudly following a sustainable business model that keeps items out of landfills and gives them new life. Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for preparing and serving café beverages and food items while delivering fast, friendly, and accurate customer service. Duties include taking and processing orders through the POS system, handling payments, maintaining product quality & presentation, and ensuring proper food safety & sanitation standards are met. This position also involves stocking supplies, keeping service & display areas clean & organized, explaining menu items, assisting customers with purchasing decisions, etc. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Experience as a barista preferred but not required

• Requires previous cash handling experience

• Requires basic math & counting skills

• Must be able to work independently with limited supervision

• Complete Food Handling Certification as required

• Strong communicator with a positive, solution-oriented attitude

• Reliable, punctual, and available for nights, weekends and holidays

This Position is Part-Time (less than 32 hours per week)
