About the role

Bowdark is seeking an experienced Senior Angular Developer to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable enterprise web applications. This individual will serve as a senior technical contributor responsible for building high-quality front-end solutions, driving technical excellence, mentoring developers, and partnering with architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

What we're looking for

The ideal candidate combines deep Angular expertise with a strong understanding of enterprise architecture, API integrations, performance optimization, and modern DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Angular applications.
• Lead implementation of complex user interfaces and reusable component libraries.
• Translate business requirements and user stories into scalable technical solutions.
• Collaborate with solution architects to align development efforts with enterprise architecture standards.
• Develop and integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Drive code quality through peer reviews, coding standards, and best practices.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and application defects.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers through code reviews, technical coaching, and knowledge sharing.
• Participate in Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release management activities.
• Contribute to technical documentation, solution designs, and architecture diagrams.
• Partner with QA teams to ensure successful testing, UAT, and production deployments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Angular development experience.
• Strong proficiency in:
• • o   Angular (v16+ preferred)
  • o   TypeScript
  • o   JavaScript (ES6+)
  • o   HTML5
  • o   CSS3 / SCSS
• Experience implementing responsive and accessible UI designs.
• Experience building large-scale, production-grade web applications.
• Expertise consuming and integrating REST APIs.
• Experience with state management frameworks:
• • NgRx
  •   RxJS

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Azure cloud services.
• Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines and CI/CD automation.
• Familiarity with microservices architectures.
• Knowledge of authentication and security frameworks:
• • o   OAuth
  • o   OpenID Connect
  • o   Azure AD
• Experience with automated testing frameworks:
• • o   Jasmine
  • o   Karma
  • o   Cypress
• Exposure to .NET, Node.js, or backend development.
