WHAT TO EXPECT DAY TO DAY

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in software engineering, modern technologies, and cloud-based infrastructure.

As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you'll play a key role in shaping how we build software. You'll contribute to the selection, adoption, and standardisation of technologies, frameworks, and development processes across multiple projects. Working across both the discovery and delivery phases, you'll help ensure the right technical decisions are made early and take a hands-on role in delivering high-quality solutions on time.

You'll have the opportunity to work with the latest technologies and tools, building solutions on infrastructure running within a Kubernetes environment. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and develop reusable framework components
• Design and develop frontend web applications and backend services for SaaS products
• Provide technical mentorship and support to less experienced engineers
• Contribute to Camlin's software development strategies and technical direction
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies, design reviews, and technical discussions
• Oversee and continuously improve web application CI/CD pipelines
• Champion software quality through practices such as unit testing, SAST, and SCA
• Design and implement secure web application architectures
• Drive infrastructure optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

• Relevant experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer
• Experience working with testing frameworks and libraries
• Practical knowledge of modern web application deployment infrastructure
• Strong understanding of version control systems, such as Git
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal

DESIRABLE CRITERIA

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
• Experience with TypeScript
• Experience with Vue.js (or a similar modern JavaScript framework)
• Experience with Python
• Experience building SaaS applications
• Knowledge of secure software development principles
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with AWS
• Experience using monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana
