Parish Specialist

CCO’s mission is to raise up Christ-centered, Spirit-filled leaders to evangelize the world one person at a time. As we seek to fulfill CCO’s 10 Year Vision in the Beyond space, our partnerships with parishes, dioceses and key movements are one of the most important areas to invest in. The Parish Specialist lives CCO’s mission in a very practical way by being the hands-on Accompanier to grow these external relationships, partnering to help raise up multiplying movements of Intentional Accompaniment around the world. 

This position requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in using CCO materials, methods, and programs.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Raise up multiplying missionaries around the world using CCO’s methods 
• Support and deepen key global partnerships 
• Enflesh IA and missionary culture in parishes and dioceses through Beyond’s programming and coaching
• Support alumni and other like-hearted leaders
• Develop and refine teachings and trainings
• Expand CCO’s reach in Canada, the U.S., the U.K., Ireland, and around the world

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in using CCO materials, methods, and programs.
• Must have a proven track record of multiplication
• Must have experience as either a movement builder in a parish or a team leader on campus
• Experience applying Intentional Accompaniment in a variety of contexts is valuable. 
• Are passionate about parish evangelization
• Are entrepreneurial and agile in their ability to coach and redirect on the fly
• Remote accompaniment experience is an asset

• Wage range: $58,498.15 - $75,880 depending on experience and qualifications
• Location: This position is based at CCO National Headquarters in Ottawa

• Working hours
• • Full-Time: 40 hours/week (generally 8:30-5 pm) 
  • Some opportunities for flexible hours depend on the supervisor and the position's needs. 
  • Occasional weekend and evening work will be required; flexibility in schedule may be required from time to time to accommodate program requirements. 
  • Occasional Travel will be required

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

• All employees of CCO are required to participate in the mission of the New Evangelization within the Catholic Church and work toward the propagation of the Gospel. This includes taking the initiative to lead CCO Catholic Faith studies, share the kerygma (through tools like the Ultimate Relationship booklet), and/or participation in the evangelization efforts of CCO, including opportunities to participate in CCO Missions.
• Actively practicing Catholic, in good standing, willing to uphold Catholic moral teachings, while leading a life that exhibits fidelity to the teachings of the Catholic Church. Therefore, all CCO employees must be baptized Catholic.
• Maintain an active sacramental and spiritual life rooted in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, committed to personal prayer, reading Scripture, regular confession, and Mass attendance
• Must be able to meet CCO’s Responsible Ministry Policies
• Must be compliant with all applicable personnel policies
