About the Role 

We are seeking a Clinical Configuration Specialist I to support the design, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of study-specific electronic source documents and CTMS workflows. This role plays a critical part in ensuring study teams and site users have accurate, intuitive tools to support data collection, study execution, and financial tracking. 

 

You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to build, maintain, and optimize CTMS configurations from study start-up through closeout, while ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. Your work will directly support the efficient and compliant execution of clinical trials across Centricity Research sites. 

 

What You’ll Do 

  • Design, develop, and maintain study-specific electronic source documents to support accurate and efficient data collection 
  • Program and update source forms within the CTMS in alignment with study protocols and Centricity standards 
  • Build and maintain CTMS visit templates and financial configurations to ensure accurate task tracking and billing 
  • Review executed Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs) to determine appropriate visit structures and associated budgets 
  • Enter additional invoiceable CTA items into the CTMS to support accurate sponsor and CRO billing 
  • Ensure visit schedules and billing items are correctly configured for both clinical and finance teams 
  • Maintain working knowledge of study protocols and amendments as they relate to CTMS and source builds 
  • Provide front-line CTMS support to users via phone, email, or web; troubleshoot issues and escalate as needed 
  • Stay current on CTMS releases, system enhancements, and best practices, applying updates when appropriate 
  • Collaborate with study teams to gather required documentation and support seamless study builds from start-up through closeout 
  • Assist Clinical Research Financial Analysts and other internal stakeholders as needed 
  • Participate in team meetings, discussions, and departmental initiatives 

 

You Might Be a Great Fit If You: 

  • Have an associate’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field 
  • Bring prior experience with a CTMS or clinical research systems (e.g., RealTime, CRIO, or similar), or are eager to learn 
  • Have an understanding of clinical trial contracts, budgets, and invoicing processes 
  • Are familiar with GCP and clinical trial workflows, or interested in building that knowledge 
  • Have strong attention to detail and take pride in building accurate, user-friendly systems 
  • Enjoy technical troubleshooting and problem-solving 
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with a wide range of stakeholders 
  • Are highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment 
  • Work well independently while collaborating effectively across teams 
  • Adapt easily to system updates, process improvements, and new technologies
