Chicken N Pickle is looking for a Director of Restaurant Systems. Our brand is that of a rambunctious, multi-generational family that works hard and plays even harder. What you’ll do:


  • Embody Chicken N Pickle’s core values: Authenticity, Community, Connection, Integrity, Quality, and Teamwork
  • Provide technical leadership and serves as the subject matter expert as it relates to all facets of Aloha Point of Sale, peripheral, back office solutions 
  • Provide continued oversight and suggest improvements in restaurant system operations, introducing new and creative application of technology
  • Develop and lead a team of skilled technology professionals tasked with supporting strategic initiatives as well as promoting new processes and procedures that enhance the return on investment made in our in-store technologies
  • Manage and set priorities in partnership with the VP of Technology for the design, maintenance, implementation, and evaluation of all operational systems, including point of sale, payment, back-office, and customer facing technologies
  • Design and implement short- and long-term strategic plans and roadmaps to ensure operational systems meet existing and future requirements
  • Responsible for the lifecycle management of the restaurant software and hardware as well as the associated rollouts and refreshes
  • Partner with cross functional teams on restaurant systems support to ensure full interoperability and efficiency
  • Prepare RFPs, analyze proposals and select services for technology providers.
  • Manage vendor partners to deliver projects, resolves issues, and achieves budget requirements
  • Follow up on warranties and repairs done internally or through vendor partners
  • Track and monitor the status of assigned tasks
  • Collaborate, partner, and facilitate priority setting across functional teams of business users
  • Create, execute, and monitor IT standards, policies, and procedures for technology use, security, and business continuity
  • Participate in cybersecurity and other required audits.


What you’ll bring to the role: 


  • 3+ years of experience translating technology business priorities into operational strategy and measurable outcomes
  • 3+ years of technology leadership and team member management abilities
  • 2+ years of experience managing NCR Voyix and Aloha POS systems
  • Strong organizational, project management and time management skills
  • In-person presence working from our Headquarters in North Kansas City, MO
  • Ability to travel to all CNP locations, as needed
  • Proven external partner management skills
  • Ability to perform hands-on technical activities
  • Solid technical skills to investigate and the ability to simplify technical concepts to communicate with non-technical colleagues both in-person and remotely
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Desired: 2+ years of previous experience working with the following:
    • Google Workspace Administrator
    • Savi AV control systems
    • Open Eye and Verkada security camera/NVR/access control management
    • Freshservice ticket system management 
    • GoTo phone systems
    • OLO online ordering platform
    • Ubiquiti networking ecosystem
    • OPNSense firewall digital security systems
