Pediatric Optical Front Desk Associate

Are you friendly, organized, and passionate about helping children see the world clearly? The Children’s Eye Center of El Paso is seeking a Front Desk Associate to join our pediatric optical team! This is a key role in creating a positive experience for patients and their families from the moment they walk through the door.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families with a warm, professional attitude
• Check patients in/out for optical appointments and assist with scheduling
• Collect payments and verify insurance eligibility and benefits
• Maintain accurate patient and billing information in the EMR system
• Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
• Support the optical team with basic administrative and retail tasks
• Ensure the front desk and optical showroom remain clean, organized, and welcoming

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a medical or optical front desk role preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills, especially with children and families
• Detail-oriented and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
• Familiarity with medical insurance verification and EMR systems a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent required
