About the role

As an Account Executive, you'll open doors at banks, credit unions, fintechs, and payment companies new to CYBERA. You own new logo acquisition from first touch to signed contract. You find the decision makers in fraud, financial crime, and payments, earn their attention, and turn cold conversations into closed deals. Your edge is CYBERA's own intelligence: mule accounts we have found on a prospect's books, scam trends hitting their customers, and research on the people who own the problem. This is an early seat on a growing sales team. You help shape how CYBERA sells and build a long-term career as the company scales.

What you'll do

• Prospect, pursue, and close new accounts across banks, credit unions, fintechs, and payment companies
• Run cold outbound across email, phone, LinkedIn, events, and referrals

• Find creative ways to reach fraud, AML, and payments leaders who ignore standard outreach

• Use CYBERA resources to earn meetings, including Mule Intelligence briefings, target account research, scam data, and executive introductions

• Map buying committees and build champions across fraud, risk, compliance, and operations

• Lead discovery, demos, and proof-of-concept plans with support from product and engineering

• Build business cases tied to scam losses, reimbursement exposure, and new regulation

• Co-sell with channel partners into shared accounts

• Keep pipeline and forecast accurate and current in our CRM

• Bring market feedback to product, marketing, and leadership

Qualifications

• 5+ years of quota-carrying experience selling to financial institutions
• Proven record of new logo acquisition in a hunter role

• Track record of breaking into accounts with no prior relationship

• Experience selling fraud, AML, risk, compliance, or security solutions to banks or credit unions

• Comfort with long sales cycles and multi-stakeholder buying committees

• Self-starter drive. You build your own pipeline and don't wait for inbound

• Entrepreneurial mindset energized to overcome novel challenges

• Clear, direct communication with executives and technical teams

It's a plus if you have:

• An active network of fraud, financial crime, or payments leaders at US banks and credit unions

• Experience at an early-stage or high-growth startup

• Familiarity with authorized push payment scams, money mules, or real-time payments

• Experience co-selling with channel or technology partners
