About the role - PM Special Programs

  • The Program Manager, Special Programs position will lead our newly created Professional Services Department, with a focus managing of a team of Direct Support specialists who deploy globally. As a P&L position, the PM will be responsible for monthly reporting metrics, maintaining schedules for deployed personnel, and interfacing with the customer as Darksaber's face & main point of contact on contract driven deliverables.

What you'll do

  • Establish Darksaber's newly created Services Department, ensuring professional hiring & employee needs are met in conjunction with customer contract requirements
  • Recruit, hire, schedule, and LEAD a team of sUAS professionals responsible for global deployment
  • UxV platform selection, validation, training, and deployment
  • Ensure POI development, acceptance, and continual maintenance for training curriculum (delegated)
  • Management of contract deliverables for all Professional Services
  • Manage schedules of all team members, ensure financing, ODC budgets, and AP/AR are managed to PMP standards for customer review & audit
  • Reports directly to the CEO as the company's only committing official, and the CFO for financial reporting metrics
  • Work directly with founders to build the company's growth strategy across all aspects of Professional Services

Qualifications

  • US citizenship (required)
  • FSP eligibility required for sensitive programs (required)
  • sUAS operational experience in a combat arms or SOF unit (required)
  • Leadership experience managing teams with up to 6 Direct Reports
  • Graduate Degree & PMP (required, though PMP can be obtained post-hiring)
  • Contract management experience, MS project, reporting financials (required)
  • Experience managing contract deliverables subject to audit (highly desired)
  • A minimum of 5 years of P&L responsibility (highly desired)
  • C-UAS knowledge & red-cell experience (highly desired)
  • 10% travel (CONUS, with occasional overseas trips a possibility)
