Technical Writer I

We're looking for a Technical Writer to join our Technical Publications team. In this role, you will create, maintain, and improve customer-facing and internal documentation that helps users understand, configure, and use our products successfully.


The ideal candidate is a strong writer who can turn complex product information into clear, accurate, user-focused content. Exposure to software, integrations, payments, APIs, or technical documentation is highly preferred, but not required. We are also open to candidates who are curious, detail-oriented, and able to learn complex products quickly.


This role will support product documentation, release documentation, Knowledge Base content, and validation of our AI chatbot feature.


Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain internal and external documentation for multiple audiences, including user guides, Knowledge Base articles, release notes, troubleshooting content, and process documentation.
  • Work closely with multiple teams and subject matter experts to gather and validate information.
  • Translate product behavior, workflows, configuration steps, and technical concepts into clear, practical documentation.
  • Maintain and improve Knowledge Base content to ensure information is accurate, consistent, easy to find, and aligned with product changes.
  • Test and verify the AI chatbot feature to help ensure it returns accurate, helpful, and relevant responses based on available Knowledge Base content.
  • Identify documentation gaps and recommend improvements to content structure, usability, and discoverability.
  • Follow established style guides, templates, terminology, and content standards.
  • Manage multiple documentation assignments across product releases and ongoing updates.


Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience writing documentation, procedural materials, support content, training content, or similar materials for multiple audiences preferred.
  • Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills.
  • Ability to explain complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn new products, tools, and workflows.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred but not required.
  • Experience writing technical, product, software, support, training, or process documentation.
  • Exposure to software products, integrations, APIs, payment systems, implementation workflows, or similar technical environments.
  • Experience maintaining Knowledge Base content.
  • Experience testing, validating, or reviewing chatbot, AI assistant, or self-service support responses.
  • Familiarity with software release cycles or Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Working fully onsite is required.
