As part of our team, you’ll join a mission-driven organization committed to food safety, innovation, and people development. If you’re ready to lead, inspire, and make a measurable difference, this role is for you.

Your Role: Sanitation SSOP Clerk

As a Sanitation SSOP Clerk, you will serve as the administrative backbone of our site’s food safety and compliance operations. You will manage sanitation documentation, regulatory recordkeeping, and administrative compliance for the facility’s sanitation and operations departments.

In this role, you will be responsible for tracking daily SSOP (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedure) tasks, coordinating compliance records, managing training and attendance logs, and ensuring site audit readiness. You’ll report to a Site Manager and work closely with plant management, Operations, and Human Resources to maintain seamless administrative support and keep our operations fully compliant with industry and client standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • SSOP & Regulatory Monitoring: Track and monitor daily sanitation tasks, record and address non-compliance issues (such as USDA NR notices), and review environmental monitoring or bacterial findings.
  • Documentation & Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate logs for sanitation activities, pre-operational inspections, chemical inventory, and master sanitation schedules (MSS).
  • Personnel & Training Administration: Track employee safety training records, maintain attendance and safety logs, update HR and timekeeping data, and assist with coordinating weekly safety meetings.
  • Reporting & Cross-Functional Support: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly compliance and staffing reports for plant management, Operations, and Human Resources.
  • Site Audit Support: Support plant audit readiness for SQF (Safe Quality Food), GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative), and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) standards.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Maintain open communication across departments and assist leadership with administrative and operational tasks as needed.
