About Entrada Partners

Entrada Partners is a vertically integrated commercial real estate platform with asset management, property management, and construction in-house — Entrada Partners Acquisitions (EPA), Entrada Partners Management (EPM), and Forge Constructors. Together, the three entities employ roughly 80 people. Entrada is a fast-growing company that has more than doubled in size over the last three years, built on a foundation of integrity, stewardship, and accountability. The company is headquartered in Addison, TX, with offices in San Antonio, TX, Atlanta, GA, and Los Angeles, CA.

About the role

The Director of Human Resources is a department-of-one role owning HR across Entrada's three entities — talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, compliance, compensation and benefits, and employee relations. This person will report directly to the Partners, with one direct report (Office Manager / Administrative Support). This is a highly autonomous, self-directed role with a real seat at the table — the Director will act as a true advisor to the Partners and managers on all HR matters, with the opportunity to make an impact across the entire organization. Based onsite in Addison, TX Monday–Thursday, with WFH optional Fridays.

What you'll do

  • Own full-cycle recruiting in collaboration with hiring managers — manage job requisitions, conduct screening calls, and guide managers through interviews as needed.
  • Lead onboarding and offboarding, including orientation and exit interviews.
  • Administer the annual/mid-year review process and train managers on goal-setting and coaching.
  • Guide performance improvement plans, disciplinary action, and related documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and California, Georgia, and Texas employment law (wage and hour, leave, safety, EEO) across all offices.
  • Maintain the employee handbook and HR policies; own I-9 compliance, personnel files, and required postings.
  • Manage workers' compensation, unemployment claims, and HR-related audits or investigations.
  • Administer payroll.
  • Manage benefits enrollment, broker relationships, and compensation benchmarking.
  • Administer leave programs (FMLA, PTO, parental leave) and ensure accurate tracking.
  • Serve as the primary contact for employee relations, conflict resolution, and investigations across all three entities.
  • Advise on employment decisions, terminations, and risk mitigation; champion culture and engagement.
  • Manage the Office Manager / Administrative Support direct report.
  • Operate independently as the sole HR function, escalating high-risk matters to the Partners as their trusted people advisor.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary and performance-based bonus
  • Comprehensive insurance offerings with medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance
  • 401(k) plan with employer contributions
  • Generous PTO plus Flex Holidays, Bereavement, Jury Duty, and Parental Leave
