Who Can Apply

To meet our site working requirements, applicants must:

• Be 16 years old by the start of the internship in Summer 2027
• Be enthusiastic, reliable and willing to learn
• Enjoy working as part of a team
• Have an interest in engineering, manufacturing, technology or practical hands-on work
• Be available to work during the summer holiday period

No previous experience is required. Full training and support will be provided throughout the programme.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Summer Intern within our Manufacturing team, you'll gain first-hand experience of life in a modern production environment.

Duties may include:

• Assisting with the assembly of industry-leading satellite communications equipment
• Learning manufacturing and quality processes
• Working with experienced technicians and engineers
• Following engineering drawings, instructions and procedures
• Supporting production activities across the department
• Developing practical workplace and problem-solving skills
• Understanding how products move from design through to final manufacture and testing

Internship Details

This role requires you to work on-site at our modern manufacturing facility in Hereford - Before applying, please make sure you can commute to Coldwell Radio Station, Madley, Herefordshire, HR2 9NE

• Duration: 5-6 weeks during the Summer Holidays 2027
• Hours: Full-time
• Salary: Paid Internship
• Closing date: May 2027
