The Team You’ll Work With …


As the Maintenance Technician, you will work directly with our talented Maintenance team to ensure the optimal functionality of our industrial equipment through proactive maintenance and timely repairs. The Maintenance Technician will diagnose and repair a wide range of industrial equipment, including conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, presses, kilns, automated systems, mobile equipment, and pumps.. This role reports to the Plant Manager and is located onsite in Aromas, CA. Our culture thrives on professional development, ongoing training, and opportunities for growth within the organization. This is an hourly position on our day shift (6am - 2:30pm) and pays $25 - $27 an hour, depending on experience. 


The opportunities you will have … 


  • Clean and repair building fixtures including lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, walls, floors, gutters, and drains.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that building systems operate efficiently and that the physical condition of machines do not deteriorate.
  • Perform maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical repairs to ensure that the building and machinery is properly maintained.
  • Achieves competent repairs and maintenance by performing preventive maintenance as well as corrective maintenance of the manufacturing plant, utility systems and all supporting equipment ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of all areas of a facility
  • Must be capable of adjusting components to obtain and maintain proper performance based on manufacturer and company guidelines
  • Provides information and documents of work performed and completes written preventive maintenance forms and documents of work performed and completing written work requests in a timely manner.
  • Locates sources of problems by listening to the Operators, observing equipment operation, listening for problems and using a step-by-step problem solving approach.
  • Removes defective parts by dismantling devices using both hand and power tools.
  • Uses recommended Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed and effectively uses Lock-Out Tag-Out procedures when working on equipment.
  • Demonstrates general working knowledge in the maintenance and repair of the facilities mechanical equipment by utilizing mechanical ability and training to complete work order requests in a timely manner.
  • Follow and maintain associate safety standards 
  • Willing to function as a team member toward the achievement of this company’s goals and objectives
  • Perform other duties as assigned

About You …

  • Experience in industrial equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Proficient in MIG welding; TIG welding is a plus.
  • Experience in facilities maintenance is a plus.
  • Strong commitment to safety and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Ability to interpret and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Reliable, adaptable, and capable of meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Basic plumbing and electrical skills, including experience wiring 3-phase motors.
  • High school diploma or GED, with at least 2 years of relevant experience or technical training.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting, and climbing.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Ability to work in varying temperature environments and areas with dust and chemicals.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving technologies.
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • You must supply your own basic tools.
