Accounting Specialist for Farms & Food Businesses (REMOTE)

About Good Roots

Good Roots is a remote team of accountants, consultants, and marketers working exclusively in food and agriculture. People who grew up in agriculture, who have run businesses, who speak the language and understand the stakes. We bring expertise to farmers and food entrepreneurs.

We come from different places. From farms and ranches, finance and tech, marketing agencies, university extension offices, to farmers' markets, but we operate with a single focus. To build a better food system for the people, animals, and the earth.

The work is practical and hands-on. We sit inside our clients' numbers, their marketing funnels, and their operational decisions. We tell the truth even when it is hard. We roll up our sleeves, and we do not disappear when things get complicated.

If you are the kind of person who wants to put your fingerprints on something. Someone who wants the mission to be real and the work to show it. This is that place.
Resumes tell part of the story. Use the application questions to show us who you are, how you think, and what you care about.
