Position Overview
This cross-functional position reports to the Director of Startup Experience and Events and is responsible for leading the project management and execution of Greentown Boston’s event strategy. In this highly collaborative role, the Sr. Events Manager works across multiple teams at Greentown Labs to develop high-quality programming that aligns with Greentown Labs’ organizational goals and strategic objectives, with a focus on bringing people together to act on climate.
This person is able to work seamlessly with multiple stakeholder groups: colleagues, startups, corporate partners, industry leaders, executives, investors, and more, to offer a best-in-class event experience for all. The Sr. Events Manager must be incredibly organized, detail-oriented, and a team player with a knack for managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Work Location and Schedule
Greentown staff generally operate on a hybrid schedule, with expectations to be on-site at Greentown’s incubator in Somerville, MA at least three days per week, with the option to work remotely two days per week. Occasional evening work will be expected to support and capture content at events. Our standard business hours are 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
