What You'll Expect

As an EVS Project Technician, you’ll work overnights completing scheduled deep-cleaning and floor-care projects throughout the property. You’ll work independently, use professional cleaning equipment, and follow all safety procedures. 


What You'll Do

  • Strip, scrub, buff, and polish hard-surface floors
  • Deep-clean carpets using carpet extraction equipment
  • Complete scheduled overnight cleaning projects according to the project schedule
  • Move and reset furniture, signs, and equipment to access work areas
  • Clean and maintain floor machines, carpet extractors, and other equipment
  • Track cleaning chemicals and supplies and report when supplies need to be reordered
  • Follow all chemical, PPE, SDS, and safety procedures
  • Coordinate with Security and Surveillance when working in restricted or gaming areas
  • Assist with basic maintenance tasks such as touch-up painting and drain cleaning
  • Support other EVS projects, including window cleaning, upholstery cleaning, and pressure washing
  • Keep work areas safe by using proper wet-floor signs and barricades

What You'll Bring

  • At least 2 years of hands-on commercial floor-care experience
  • Experience using floor buffers/burnishers and carpet extractors
  • Knowledge of floor stripping, recoating, and floor-care chemicals
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to read and follow chemical labels, SDS sheets, and manufacturer instructions
  • Reliable availability for overnight work, including weekends and holidays when needed


What We Require

  • Ability to pass a background check and obtain any required gaming licensure
  • Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and bend throughout an overnight shift
  • Ability to push, pull, and maneuver cleaning equipment weighing up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted
  • Ability to work safely around cleaning chemicals, wet floors, machinery, and varying noise levels
