Harbor Compliance

Senior Product Manager

Harbor Compliance is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the zero to one build of our Client Communications Service — covering filing status updates, notifications, agentic communications, and key touchpoints across the client experience and onboarding journey. This role will take an early-stage product area and bring it to full maturity, sharpening the roadmap and delivering the features needed to support Harbor's growth. The ideal candidate combines strong product fundamentals with the precision required to operate in a compliance-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the Client Communications roadmap end to end, translating company strategy and user needs into prioritized initiatives that drive both growth (e.g., improved engagement, retention) and scale (e.g., automation, reduced manual touchpoints).
  • Lead product discovery and delivery in close partnership with Engineering, Design, and Operations -  owning roadmap Ideas from concept through launch.
  • Define Epics and User Stories with clear scope, dependencies, and detailed acceptance criteria for the engineering team.
  • Produce user journey, process, and data flow diagrams for client communications and related onboarding/experience touchpoints; create wireframes and collaborate on higher-fidelity designs.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Technology, and Service leaders to ensure communications initiatives align with broader business goals and launch successfully.
  • Develop and maintain KPI dashboards to monitor communications performance, client engagement, and the health of the client experience.
  • Manage backlog, sprint readiness, and delivery tracking in Jira, ensuring the team has clear, well-scoped work at all times.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and tradeoffs clearly to cross-functional partners and leadership.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in product management, with a track record of owning a product area from early/emerging stage through maturity.
  • Demonstrated ability to master detailed, precise, and complex product landscapes — ideally including experience in regulated, compliance-driven, or other high-accuracy environments.
  • Strong track record of translating business goals and client needs into clear, actionable requirements and a coherent product roadmap.
  • Proven success partnering cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, and business stakeholders to ship high-impact features.
  • Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and wireframes.
  • Proficiency with Agile methodologies and tools such as Linear, Jira Software and Jira Product Discovery.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to build and interpret KPI dashboards to guide roadmap priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey progress, risk, and tradeoffs to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience shaping or maturing an early-stage product area, including building foundational processes, documentation, and roadmap clarity where none previously existed.
