Nous recherchons un Ingénieur d’Application IRM motivé(e) pour accompagner les cliniques vétérinaires dans l’optimisation des protocoles d’imagerie, la formation des utilisateurs et le bon fonctionnement des systèmes IRM. Ce poste implique des déplacements internationaux dans les cliniques et hôpitaux vétérinaires afin d’apporter un support technique expert en imagerie vétérinaire. 

Missions 

• Engagement client et support commercial 
• • Assister l’équipe commerciale en démontrant les capacités des IRM et en répondant aux questions techniques spécifiques aux applications vétérinaires. 
  • Assurer un suivi client régulier et un support proactif. 
• Support et formation en IRM vétérinaire 
• • Fournir une assistance technique sur site et à distance pour l’installation, le dépannage et la mise à jour des systèmes IRM. 
  • Former les vétérinaires et techniciens à l’utilisation des IRM, aux protocoles de sécurité et aux techniques d’imagerie adaptées aux animaux. 
• Développement et optimisation des protocoles 
• • Collaborer avec les cliniques pour adapter et améliorer les protocoles IRM en fonction des espèces et des pathologies. 
  • Intégrer les avancées en imagerie vétérinaire dans les pratiques des clients. 
• Déplacements et représentation 
• • Voyager en France et à l’international (25 % - 50 %) pour les installations, formations et suivis clients. 
  • Représenter Hawkcell lors de salons, conférences et événements du secteur de l’imagerie et du monde vétérinaire. 
• Documentation et reporting 
• • Rédiger des manuels d’utilisation, guides techniques et supports de formation adaptés aux applications vétérinaires. 
  • Assurer un suivi des interactions clients et des retours terrain pour améliorer continuellement nos solutions. 

Profil recherché 

• Formation 
• • DE MERM ou DTS IMRT  
  • Master Ingénieurie Biomédicale est un plus 
• Expérience 
• • 1 à 2 ans d’expérience pratique en IRM, idéalement une connaissance du domaine préclinique ou vétérinaire.  
• Compétences techniques 
• • Maîtrise des systèmes IRM et de leurs applications 
  • Expérience pratique sur les équipements Esaote, Siemens et GE (d’autres fabricants sont un plus). 
  • Connaissances en IRM quantitative (cartographie T1/T2, imagerie cardiaque). 
  • Familiarité avec la programmation de séquences d’impulsions et les techniques avancées d’imagerie. 
  • Une période de montée en compétence peut faire évoluer le candidat sur des lacunes techniques.  
• Compétences interpersonnelles 
• • Excellentes capacités de communication et de relation client. 
  • Esprit analytique et aptitude à résoudre des problèmes dans un environnement dynamique. 
  • Sens de l’organisation et attention aux détails. 
  • Maîtrise de l’anglais écrit et oral (langue de travail).

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated MRI Application Engineer to support veterinary practices by optimizing imaging protocols, training users, and ensuring the seamless operation of MRI systems. This role requires international travel to veterinary clinics and hospitals to deliver hands-on technical support and expertise in veterinary imaging.

What you'll do

• Client Engagement and Relationship Building: 
• • Assist the sales team during pre-sales activities by showcasing MRI capabilities and addressing technical questions specific to veterinary applications. 
  • Maintain strong client relationships through proactive support and regular follow-ups. 
• Veterinary MRI Support and Training: 
• • Provide on-site and remote technical support to veterinary clinics for MRI system installations, troubleshooting, and software updates. 
  • Train veterinary professionals, including radiologists and technicians, on the operation of MRI systems, safety protocols, and imaging techniques tailored for animal patients. 
• Protocol Development and Optimization: 
• • Collaborate with clinics to customize and refine MRI protocols for veterinary imaging, ensuring high-quality results across various species and conditions across different MRI models. 
  • Stay updated on advancements in veterinary MRI and integrate new techniques into client workflows. 
• Travel and Representation: 
• • Travel extensively to veterinary clinics and hospitals for installations, training, and ongoing support (domestic and international). 
  • Represent the company at veterinary trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote products and services. 
• Documentation and Reporting: 
• • Create user manuals, training materials, and technical guides tailored to veterinary applications. 
  • Document client interactions, feedback, and system updates to ensure continuous improvement. 

What we are looking for

• Education: 
• • Completion of a recognized Medical Imaging certification program (focusing on MRI) is required (e.g., from an accredited imaging school or professional institution).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Engineering, Medical Imaging, or MRI Imaging is plus. 
• Experience: 
• • At least 1 - 2 years of experience hands on with the MRI, with a focus on veterinary or preclinical imaging is preferred but experience in the human imaging field is also welcomed.
• Technical Skills: 
• • Strong Expertise in MRI Systems: In-depth knowledge of MRI systems and their application in veterinary practices, with hands-on experience using equipment from Esaote, Siemens, and GE (experience with other manufacturers is a plus). 
  • Proficiency in Imaging Software: Skilled in operating and troubleshooting imaging software and systems commonly used in veterinary medicine. 
  • Quantitative MRI Expertise: Competent in advanced techniques such as T1 and T2 mapping, and cardiac imaging for comprehensive diagnostics. 
  • Advanced Imaging Techniques: Familiarity with pulse sequence programming and other advanced imaging techniques to optimize protocols and enhance imaging quality. 
• Soft Skills: 
• • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with veterinary professionals. 
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment. 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • English is our working language so proficiency in oral and written skills of English is required.
• Other Requirements: 
• • Willingness to travel up to 25% - 50% of the time internationally.
