About the Role

This is a pipeline requisition for future and contingent opportunities. Candidates may be aligned to roles based on skillset, level, and program needs 

We are actively building a pipeline of Data Professionals to support anticipated work across federal clients, including DoD, DHS, and other mission-critical programs. These roles represent multiple future openings aligned to upcoming contract awards and strategic growth initiatives. 

This pipeline focuses on Data Engineering and AI Engineering as primary capabilities, alongside broader support for analytics, data science, and full-stack data development. 

Successful candidates will operate in client-facing consulting roles, delivering production-grade solutions while contributing to Iberia’s internal data platforms and innovation initiatives. 

We are seeking professionals with a builder mentality, strong technical foundations, and the ability to deliver scalable, real-world solutions in fast-paced environments.

Primary Focus Areas

Data Engineering (Databricks / PySpark) 

AI Engineering (GenAI / NLP) 

  • Design and build scalable, production-grade data pipelines 
  • Develop and optimize ETL/ELT workflows using PySpark 
  • Build data architectures using Databricks and modern data platforms 
  • Integrate structured and unstructured data across distributed environments 
  • Ensure performance, reliability, and scalability of data systems 
  • Design and implement GenAI-powered solutions (LLMs, embeddings, prompt orchestration) 
  • Develop NLP pipelines and text-based data processing systems 
  • Integrate AI/ML capabilities into production data environments 
  • Evaluate model performance, scalability, and reliability 
  • Support deployment of AI solutions in mission-critical environments 

Analytics & Data Science 

Full-Stack Data Development 

  • Develop analytical models, forecasts, and statistical analyses 
  • Build reusable datasets and semantic layers 
  • Translate complex data into decision-support insights 
  • Apply tools like Python/R for modeling and analysis 
  • Build data-driven applications, APIs, and backend services 
  • Integrate data pipelines into production systems 
  • Support system design, orchestration, and automation 
  • Contribute to end-to-end solution delivery 

What You'll Do

  • Deliver client-facing data solutions in federal environments
  • Translate business needs into production-grade technical systems
  • Operate in Agile teams and support full delivery lifecycle
  • Develop audit-ready documentation, SOPs, and technical artifacts
  • Contribute to Iberia’s internal platforms, accelerators, and innovation

Job Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a federal clearance
  • Strong experience with Databricks and/or PySpark preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Experience in data engineering, AI/ML, analytics, or software development roles
  • Strong problem-solving skills and technical execution ability
  • Ability to operate effectively in client-facing consulting environments
  • Experience supporting federal or regulated environments

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Experience with NLP, LLMs, or advanced analytics
  • Experience with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • API development and system integration
  • Familiarity with data governance, auditability, and secure data handling

L’échelle de rémunération pour ce poste est :

120,000 - 230,000 USD par year (Remote)
