
About the Role
Our billing team is navigating an exciting new chapter. We're refining our processes, adopting the best tools, and building a foundation for the future. We're looking for a motivated, detail-oriented team member to join us at the ground level - someone who wants to learn the ins and outs of medical billing and grow with us.
You don't need to be an experienced biller. This is a highly teachable role, and we'll train you! What matters most is a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn. Some exposure to insurance, billing, or a medical office is a plus but not required.
This role requires IN-OFFICE presence 5 days/wk - please do NOT apply unless you can reasonably meet that requirement.
What You'll Do
• Sort revenue cycle (RCM) mail and deposit checks
• Verify insurance coverage for patients
• Obtain prior authorizations from insurance companies
• Submit claims and follow up on claim status
• Update practice demographics and communication preferences with insurance companies
• Support the billing team with day-to-day tasks as needed
What We're Looking For
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Reliable, coachable, and eager to learn
• Comfortable communicating with insurance companies and internal teams
• Some exposure to insurance, billing, or a medical office setting (preferred, not required)
• Able to work in-person at our Lehi, UT location five days a week
